They are a very caring staff, and there are a lot of staff per resident. I am glad my family members are being well taken care of.
Note: this facility has 90% or more of the residents using walkers or wheelchairs, so it’s for the elderly who really can’t live at home.

Glad we found DevonHouse and my father always has a smile on his face
I want my father to spend his days in a place that he enjoys. I found that at DevonHouse. You step through the front doors and you’re in a huge living room, fresh and clean. People are enjoying one another’s company. Dad enjoys the food and he really likes when the ladies bake fresh cookies and pass them out. Dad has a nice quiet room for when he wants Dad time. The staff are very caring… they are on top of everything, keeping the rooms neat, getting people dressed, giving medications, and always polite. I’m glad we found DevonHouse and my father always has a smile on his face.

…DevonHouse made the transition so easy. Balloons, a welcome basket, and the staff, one after another, coming to his room to make him feel at home. They made the family feel like their father would be treated with respect and dignity, as his family would if he was living at home. This is his ‘new home.’ There is never enough thanks for the staff… we feel like they are extended family.

We always felt our mother received the best possible care; at the same time being treated with dignity
Both the licensed nurses and resident associates treated my mother with professionalism, but more importantly with kindness. Mother required quite a bit of care, being blind and a brittle diabetic, and we always felt she received the best possible care; at the same time being treated with dignity.
